If you're looking for a slow-burn art film that will hold your attention while not demanding much from your brain, I recommend Koyaanisqatsi (1981) which happens to be free on YouTube.
Though I recognized in it the would of my childhood, its message is more timely than ever.

Theres a sequel, Pawaqqatsi (1988). we showed them both in film club at college in the 90s. And apparently a third ive never seen Naqoyqatsi (2002)
