Kanahus Manuel, a badass Secwépemc land defender was raided by the RCMP awhile back and more recently her house has been destroyed by mysterious attackers. She has set up a fundraiser to rebuild.

Recently, renowned activist and land defender Kanahus Freedom Manuel of Secwepemc and Ktunaxa Nations had her home targeted in a hate attack. While the identity of the attacker is still unclear, there are many signs that this was a racially charged retaliatory attack as a result of Kanahus’ activist work:
