Ive been super quiet but always still busy with maps.. this is a fabulous dnd setting by @maddaloon_ on insta, a Percy Jackson style greek island. This time I took my experiments with 3d and little further, I started by sketching a greyscale heightmap then in Gaea by Quadspinner i was able to model erosion and produce a realistic looking island that i rendered in bright colours and added hand drawn buildings. #mapping #ttrpg #cartography #dndmap #novelmap
