Social media has changed a lot since we started Pixelfed.
So have we.
Close Friends, Group Chats and Stories are how people share today, and we're bringing them to the fediverse.
One more thing.
We're building them alongside new privacy and safety tools, like comment controls and interaction policies. Because a community only thrives when it's safe.

@pixelfed Is there a (potential) intent to have group chats somehow compatible with communities on other Fedi apps? I know the design thereof has been an exceptionally difficult problem to tackle, especially in making them both federated and private to only specific members. (Here’s still hoping Masto gets groups eventually…)
