👏 👏 👏
I am so much happier using #Pixelfed than Instagram. Like, I actually get to see beautiful photos on Pixelfed, whereas Instagram has turned into mind numbing short form video content.
Also, Pixelfed doesn’t constantly keep moving the a marketplace button to where a notifications button used to be.
Just wanna say how proud I am to be a part of this, and how I couldn't do this without the encouragement and support from you, the fediverse.
I used to dream of building my own social network platform while I was fixing cars, a decade ago, and now I'm responsible for one of the most popular alternatives to Instagram!
Never stop chasing your dreams, they can come true ❤️
