Cowboy Bebop ends strong but take so many wrong and weird turns along the way I would never recommend this show to anyone. So many shows are better then this one. I'm sure when it came out the high points were higher then any other anime but that isn't true today.

@stefan Hey, did you add the FEP-044f quote post support to that site? I think in https://github.com/stefanhayden/tvmarks/blob/722439ad08c2a4453b4767c8a55afd643ee42408/src/routes/activitypub/user.ts#L219 you might have interactingObject and interactionTarget the wrong way around compared to https://fediverse.codeberg.page/fep/fep/044f/#QuoteAuthorization

Also, this quote points to https://tv.stefanhayden.com/u/watching/quoteAuth/7cfa552879763563ed12ffaa0bcc0685?remote=https%3A%2F%2Fgardenstate.social%2Fusers%2Fstefan%2Fstatuses%2F117402280647858820 which is missing interactingObject altogether even though it's mandatory.

I ask because the quote isn't working on my server. I'm guessing it only works on your own because it receives the Accept directly.

@julian I struggled a lot to get it to work. It has been working on the last several mastodon versions that https://gardenstate.social has been on. I'll add it to the list of things to look in to. the code is here: https://github.com/stefanhayden/tvmarks

@stefan There are some pitfalls in FEP-044f, one of which is that you need a third server to test the quote authorization because Mastodon is very generous (I hesitate to say neglectful) checking the authorization on the server that's doing the quoting. I suspect if it receives an Accept, it doesn't validate the authorization object at all. Quotes that look valid only on the quoting and the quoted server but nowhere else are a pretty common failure pattern. Best of luck!
