I am looking for a cartoon article from MAD magazine, or at least the issue number. From the mid 1960s or so.
It said that all the young hippies would eventually have children. But since hippies were basically rebelling against stodgy "Establishment" type people, the hippy children would rebelling against their hippy parents, and become stodgy Establishment types.
So the hippies would have to wait for grandchildren. Far-out, man, grand chicks!

Not sure if they count as "hippies" strictly speaking, but clearly the one you mean.
