Just ran across information on Soren Aldaco, who has been in attack ads all over Ohio talking about how she was essentially forcibly transitioned and how we need to protect "minors like me" from these dangerous surgeries.

Except that she was 19 when she had the surgery. A full adult. Her parents were not consulted (a point in the attack ad) because, at 19, they didn't have to be. She gave informed consent.

She started hormones at 17. I don't know the circumstances there. But I do know she would have then had to take those hormones, of her own volition, at least once a week from that point on for years.
