Subdivision surface mock-up in Blender (using my own matcap).

Trying to fit PCBs and a large ball & BTU setup in an as small area as possible.

Crude photogrammetry scan of (only half of) my hand and the Elecom HUGE trackball so I can try to figure out proportions.

A view of a trackball with BTUs viewed from above. It has an intricate triangular hole pattern, but that's only done to save on 3D print costs.

A heavily modified RP2040+PMW3360 PCB originally by jfedor2, but with added JST connectors and the DX07B024ZJ1C1088 receptacle.

Guess the HUGE wasn't huge enough for me... new print with ergonomic adjustments landed and I already want to extend it another centimeter! Maybe it's time to agree with my wife who thinks I have big hands... 😂

Often when you're working with #CAD on a huge screen, it's easy to forget just how small some of these components are... 😅
