OK now here are the same options but I'm asking, when limited to these choices, which of the following mattered most to you personally?
(you don't need to be able to vote in US elections to participate in either poll, I'm curious what everyone thinks about both.)
I suspect the results of these polls will be different. Everyone has certain ideas about what "the people" (all those people out there... the masses et al) think. And it's never exactly the same as what individuals seem to think.
We can say "it's about the economy" but in some places it was about the brutal immigration policy. The sense of betrayal many anti-war Republicans felt... and many other things.

I'm mystified by people who voted for the people with the "mass deportation now" signs and are then shocked when their neighbors suddenly vanish.
They really thought "illegal immigrants" only meant people they didn't like.
Some still have not realized that the Stephen Millers of the world see even those of us who are citizens, even someone like me with 200 years of roots in this country as "not real Americans" They want all of us gone deep in their hearts.

here in deep red Texas, "popular" governor Greg Abbott is now 700K votes behind his Democratic challenger.
Abbott spent billions on the border, and stood for very little else.

What did you think "mass" meant?
What did you think "deportation" meant?
What did you think "now" meant????
@futurebird For the record, I selected "corruption" but as I see it, "inflation" and "foreign policy" are subsets of that. So it's basically an "all of the above" answer.
