well, at least them hammering my server so hard that it stopped responding seems to have made the current request flood stop. Fortunately THIS particular thing fits a particular URL pattern that I can put on my "go away bots" list. The URLs were technically valid but I have no idea how they were actually, like, ever being generated in the first place.
another "fun" thing is that one of the bots seems to think that they can just make up query parameters and in particular are appending ?action=download to everything, I guess because they want to download my music? sorry bro, doesn't work that way

The chief reason to use the GUI launcher instead of the CLI is maybe the GUI will be compatible with Mutter/Wayland/1.5x DPI. But if the pixels are fucked up in virt-manager too, maybe I should give up and focus on making the CLI act right

Filing this bug on qemu is the only thing I have achieved today on this "project". It is currently looking like either I install VirtualBox on my Linux machine (sigh) or I just do all my Redox testing on Windows, since I don't have a high-dpi screen there, and qemu haet hidpi
