Today we're talking about Hurly Burly and the Volcanic Fallout: https://hurlyburlyandthevolcanicfallout.bandcamp.com/album/giant-robot-jetpack

So Hurly Burly and the Volcanic Fallout is a band composed of Violet Hunter (better known as @DoctorDeathray ) and my good friend Ryan and a rotating array of drummers and support musicians, but especially Sean Parchim on drums.

Well they *were* a band anyway, when all of those people were in highschool approximately 20 years ago. They stopped performing together in, I dunno, 2009? 2010?

Wrens can be pretty skulky, hiding away in the center of bushes, but this little Bewick's bravely jumped up onto a branch to sound the alarm about the great and impending danger that apparently was me.

@dysfun @davidgerard It’s certainly painful.

@ai6yr
You're probably mistaken as the British accent is only needed in case you sew buttholes 😎

@jalefkowit Unless Fellon Husk himself buys 20,000 units before the assembly line closes, the Cyberdumpster will end its life with LESS total sales than the FREAKING EDSEL!!!

About a month I was able to comfort myself by saying "well at best an LLM programming is approximating solutions to the halting problem just like me(probably worse)"

But after seeing ETH fall to the LLMs for a truly modest cost(along with hundreds of proofs and thousands of vulns)... the writing is on the walls.

A LOT of what my generation learned about CS Theory is proven false with this one.

Not quire at bedrock yet, but shift confirmed.

@arstechnica Remember, if you see someone shoplifting Nvidia pallets off a truck, no you didn't

"An invisible blue wave was waiting to wash over America. [But] the Democratic Party didn’t do this; Black voters did... this story is not about the Democratic Party.

This is how Black people did the impossible"

@ai6yr oh no! It might be worth trying different needles, to see which one works best for you. And maybe stay stitching the hole.

Nice. 👏

Yeah, this does look a little like that scene from TTwT. I don't think TrekCore has every single frame, but here's the scene:
