I wonder if at this exact moment one could succeed in filing a issue against an open source project for an entirely ficticious vulnerability, get it assigned a CVE and a github score, and then get the upstream project to accept your patch for the vulnerability, with all these things presented as the issue, the CVE, and the PR being written by generative AI, but in fact you wrote them substantially by hand and the patch for your nonexistent vuln is actually a backdoor

@georgetakei The question is who the fuck still votes for Republicans. Scary thought.
My boyfriend thinks I get through a lot of those disposable vibrating toothbrushes, errr, ok.
@fesshole 1) in the long term, a high quality vibrator will be cheaper than multiple toothbrushes
2) and “more efficient”.
3) get a better boyfriend. Or at least one you can talk to about such things. Better yet, one who realises that if the high quality vibrator from point 1 is a regular part of sex then everyone has a good time all the time.
Gender Justice League has a really good blog post about how I-638 happened (spoiler: companies that used to donate didn't, leaving a spending gap compared to Let's Go Washington, Heywood's weird cult/PAC thing).
They also have a lot of good resources about how to give them money and how to volunteer. They accept money directly, employer matching, and donor advised funds.

I am LIVE streaming #WoWForever Day 3! Roamin' Azeroth and tellin' stories!
Come join me in the chat to watch and listen to a few. And ask me questions, dammit! About anything. I don't mind. 😊🥰💖
@lisamelton Good stream tonight, cousin! Cheers!
@dirtycommo like https://modernmotherfuckingwebsite.dreamstation.systems says, it's seven meta tags. making a scripty thing to scrape referenced pages for those seven tags and generate a "preview card" on my bespoke site generator doesn't seem like it should be too difficult
anti-ai defense mechanisms might complicate things, but those are necessary so, oh well
I recently covered how Sunbeam customers in the 1960s had a choice between the Rapier coupé and the Alpine roadster. Towards the end of the decade, the Rapier and the Alpine lines were unified in a single fastback bodyshell based on the Hillman Hunter ‘Arrow’ platform. The Rapier was introduced in 1968. The Alpine, which had a bit less power and simpler trim, followed shortly after. I saw this Rapier at Classics on the Common at Harpenden this summer.
Tune in for the choons! It’s a LABR #BandcampFriday Special!! 🤘
@jason Right. So all you need to do is find a project where the maintainers are so overwhelmed by LLM patches they have given up on paying attention and just ask their LLM to check the patches in the queue, or else bomb a project with mashed potatoes LLM-generated patches until the project you're interested in becomes such a project
@jason As for the submitter submitting the patch— I don't know what would be most realistic (remember, we're not looking for good practice, we're looking for what would fool a tired maintainer) but presumably the attacker could submit the vuln report from one account and the patch from another. It's even easier than it used to be to build up the dummy account as they can use LLMs to give it a history of mashed potatoes patches
This episode of Daniel and Kelly's Extraordinary Universe explains David Mermin's version of GHZ inequalities for the Bell's theorem.
This was new to me, since in the short course of QM foundations I took some time ago we only learnt the CHSH version of Bell's inequalities. The strong point of GHZ is that you don't need statistics, the first time you see the result you know it can't be produced by hidden local variables.
Daniel really explains it well, but I couldn't follow every detail. It's a bit complex and some things need to be in paper to be fully grasped.

I haven’t listened to that episode yet, but in any case you might find this (from Peres, Quantum Theory: Concepts and Methods) of interest.
That doesn't look very comfortable
