Der Staat ist nicht dazu da alle Probleme von allen Bürgern immer zu lösen. Das übersteigt unsere Kapazität. Deswegen fokussieren wir uns darauf alle Probleme von Autofahrern immer zu lösen.
My wife has had "We didn't start the fire" by Billy Joel stuck in her head for months. She doesn't know it's because I write shopping lists and SMS's to the catchy rhythm. *Rice pudding, cheddar cheese, selection pack of black teas…
@fesshole I feel like I've read this fess before. Is this a repost?

@lritter Just going through random models here... Had more trouble with Flint just not being very productive and/or correct. I've run a bit of Nemotron-3.5-bolt now and it's _way_ slower, but I think it evens out because it doesn't spend as much time going in circles. It's gruelling to watch though. Still slightly faster than qwen 3.8. Haven't compared output.
@SonnyBonds how much main RAM do you have?

Is this run by the same people that run lemmy.world?
Title
so you are posting in a community on thelemmy.world se4vers but your account is on a piefed server
Made this one last night in the garden:
The Heart Nebula (also known as the Running Dog Nebula, Sharpless 2-190) is an emission nebula, 7,500 light-years (2,300 pc) away from Earth and located in the Perseus Arm of the Galaxy in the constellation Cassiopeia.

Wish me luck, I got my meeting with The Bobs later at work
Nice clear night tonight and I'm sure that's the supernova in NGC 1433, clearly visible in the live stack image in less than half an hour. The star-like object to the left and slightly above the fuzzy blob (galaxy core) in the centre of the image appears to be in exactly the location marked on the DESI image that was shared by @CosmicRami.
I plan to keep going on the galaxy for about 4 hours tonight so that I can make a half decent looking image of the galaxy itself, but it's cool that I can already see the exploded white dwarf.

Fediverse
Hi from normals.me. If you can read this, the federation works
This post is written on https://normals.me and delivered to !fediverse@lemmy.world over #ActivityPub, so if you are reading it the basic plumbing works. Now let me explain what is this.
Normals is a forum with communities, threads, and questions with an accepted answer. It is a single instance, not software you can host, and the core is closed for anti-abuse reasons. The federation module will be published separately with implementation notes (FEP-67ff).
What federates today Every community is a Group actor following the Lemmy model (FEP-1b12). Follow @selfhosted@normals.me or any other community from Lemmy, PieFed, Mbin or Mastodon.
Posts and comments go both ways. Replies from your instance appear in the thread on Normals, replies from Normals go back to the origin.
Remote content is labelled with its origin, links back to it, and is never copied. Media loads from the source.
Signed fetches, so it works with instances that require authorized fetch. NodeInfo 2.1 is up.
Policies, in case they matter to you, it has no ads, and no paid reach, and of course no AI training on posts. AI crawlers blocked by default, public mod log with reasons, and no automated removals. Numbers at https://normals.me/transparency so please take a look.
If something from your instance shows up wrong here, or something from here shows up wrong on yours, reply with the URL and I'll fix it. Andy Piper mentioned NodeBB uses the same group model, if anyone runs a NodeBB instance I'd like to test against it, if possible.
I hope we all have fun. Cheers!
You don't owe anyone any explanation for blocking.
The dang thing is over and they keep texting me!
@futurebird 🪿👏👏👏Hakeem! Get out of here no one likes you!
