@glyph @freakboy3742 I desperately wish I could make myself get used to terminal-based IDEs, but I just don't seem to have it

Accrescent 0.29.1 is out! Enjoy improved TLS security, Android 17 targeting, 4 new translations, and a bunch of dependency and translation updates.

https://github.com/accrescent/accrescent/releases/tag/0.29.1

(teasers on the updated console coming soon 👀)

Version 0.29.0 was cancelled due to a crash bug. If you updated Accrescent in the ~5 minute window it was available yesterday, you may need to update manually from the APK download.

We've updated our release process to prevent issues like this from occuring in the future.

@freakboy3742 @phildini man I did not expect 2026 to be the year I fully embraced feeling good about using Emacs forever but Events keep Transpiring

CHUCK CIRINO
Chopping Mall (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack)
2023 reissue
Neon Pink And Coke Bottle Split w/ Blood Splatter vinyl

Chopping Mall might be one of my 5 or so favorite movies of all time. It’s just so ludicrous and goofy, and I think I’ve seen it maybe 100 times.

So many times in fact, that Chuck Cirino’s magnificent synth score is tattooed on my brain forever, and has been ever since I was about 12 years old.
Every musical cue.

So needless to say, I was overjoyed when Waxwork put out this first ever official release of this fantastic soundtrack.
It is a note-perfect musical backdrop to help tell the tale of state-of-the-art mall security robots who go haywire and start killing people.
Top 5 movie.
Top 5 soundtracks.

I have a mission for you.
Right now, go to YouTube and type in “chopping mall head explosion”.

You are very welcome.

@phildini I haven’t done anything consciously. I *do* have a lot of VSCode windows open… but that’s not a recent change - I have a lot of projects on the go at once. I don’t even know how to go about diagnosing this, other than “take off, nuke it all from orbit, and hope it doesn’t happen again” (except that it seems to have happened twice in the last week…)

My guess is that it’s trying to index the contents of `build` folders… but that’s a SWAG.

Accountability is the exact word the US needs to show now

Show the world that corruption on the highest level is not accepted and that there are consequences following these actions otherwise what is the point

People in charge and powerful people should be held MORE accountable compared to the average person

They have a lot more resources to make sure they don't fuck up yet often they go the other way

No more
