Today's Low Quality Ad is for this Cowboy Burger Pin. I think some people don't understand how insane it is that Texas went blue this election. To put things in perspective, this is what the average Texan voter looks like.

I don’t think you quite understand why AI is so bad and why local models are no different. whynoai.info
Yeah that's right kid. Back in the day I had a hard drive that was on /dev/hda1
Not even /dev/sda1 I said hda that's right
I remember those days
Grub???? I used LILO
Installed Slackware from a box of floppies on a spare 486
@cwebber I ain't remember shit about LILO except that sinking feeling of it stopping at LI because it failed.
And then the last time this came up learning and how it writes each letter to the when to indicate progress and it's actually possible for it to fail at the other two ones it's just LI was the most common?
Why the fuck were the fridges at blood banks connected the internet?
What bumbling fool would do such a thing?
Hybrid cyberwarfare requires testing of your fossil fuel funded tech overlords are to be placated.

It was. And they’ve also erased its generated disclosures.

"Londinium, in a world where Rome never fell..." THE COMPLETE HELL'S ACRE (Hell's Acre 1 & 2) is $9.99USD in ebook until 11/14!
@isol Oooh, that's a faster discharge than I would imagine!
I think the battery is nearing the end of its life, which makes me feel more comfortable with the monitoring.
I even know exactly when "something" happened.
When I put the battery on charge, it had always been like the circled event. Then the initial charge behaviour has gradually changed, so I've got plenty of warning to watch closely, charge more often, and start researching and saving for a new battery.
Last time, I had a few sluggish starts, so I bought a new battery, but didn't install it immediately. Next day, the car started fine when I went shopping, then died completely at the shops. 😢😡
So, I pushed a shopping cart of groceries home, got the battery, pushed it back to the shops, and changed batteries in the shopping car park.
and all of the public or subsidized services have conditions that prevent me from accessing them
like I live right next to a bus stop that does technically have active service, but it's not USEFUL service for what I need, and getting to the closest bus stop that's actually useful takes away all of the energy I need to actually take part in the thing I was trying to get to in the first place, but being next to an active bus stop makes me ineligible for KC Metro's transit assistance
and not having a federal disability determination prevents me from making use of the various programs for getting in-home support, like they don't even let me pay out of pocket for it, I just Cannot Get It. and my alternatives are paying for vastly overpriced cleaning services or Taskrabbit or whatever.
and there is no service around here where someone will drive me to Costco and help me shop under my own direction, the closest is shit like Instacart where it's just shitty expensive delivery.

Huonot uutiset: Pyhä asia on puolityhjien lentokoneiden lennättäminen maakuntiin veronmaksajien rahalla."

Salty snacks were victorious in our poll of what people were stress-eating last night (remember last night?!). @jimlil went for the buttered popcorn and seasoned salt (and watched hockey instead). @liliedubh ordered Chinese food (mmm, good choice). @KrajciTom did smushed-up leftover Halloween candy, @DrOtto chose vodka, and @BoredomFestival went for ice cream (duh).
We opted for a celebratory granola bar and supermarket-brand Bubly at midnight — but tonight, Champagne.
@CultureDesk @jimlil @KrajciTom @DrOtto @BoredomFestival
Ate most of the Chinese, there was one dish of lo-mein left this morning.
Tonight was pizza and GUS soda.
@PhoenixSerenity I'm sure they carry a piece of you in their heart too xx
@normjess Raven protected me from RCMP more than once. You don't ever forget comrade friends like that.

If the author’s profile is any indication, it’s likely Harmony was written using AI:

Hi! This is Electre Selecteh's new Fediverse home. 🪹
If you are still following @electre please follow this account instead. I'm very sorry for the hassle!
(No, I cannot do it for you -- long story, and I can explain if anyone cares.)
@electre is a music review newsletter by @icaria36, with a couple of podcasts out too. Well worth checking out for any fans of genre-defying electronica.
Electre is part of the Selecteh project, which @icaria36 started too, to provide hosting for anyone wanting to review new music releases hosted on fair music platforms.
To all the politicians: I am sorry for complaining about the fundraising texts. They worked. I should have been nicer about it.
@evan I don't think we can conclude that. It's actually very possible that they would have won by even more if they didn't piss people off with all those texts.

It’s wild that just the thumbnail alone can tell you it’s vibe-coded.
Not just that but the dev couldn’t even be bothered to write their own bio, what are the chances they took the time to look over a single line of code or test anything at all?
@hynek after January, some things might stop getting worse every week
