@arstechnica “the poors were making angry noises at us, and some of them even stopped giving us money, so we shat out a massive steaming turd on a silver platter and are going to charge them to have a lick”

@Dunstable My wife also had a pretty bad reaction to the 3rd booster so I get it. Thank you. ♥️

Behind the Curtain: The Trump obliteration

Democrats won by epic, sometimes historic margins across red and blue states, up and down ballots.

@TheBreadmonkey It is, we should all give it up and just be cool and stuff

@GhostOnTheHalfShell That tracks with my model of the oligarch mentality.

They surround themselves in a bubble, isolated from reality. The rest of us, still having to deal with reality, become a mystery to them; they absolutely cannot understand why we would behave the way we behave, when it makes no sense in the context of their bubble.

Therefore, our behavior is simply irrational and can only be explained by some sort of reality-agnostic mechanism.

...because, you know, that's how they would do it... if they were somehow isolated from reality...

The LLMs are creating a new kind of mysticism. At Project Gutenberg, we're starting to get emails they have written trying to contact authors of some of the books we distribute. The authors have been dead for over a hundred years. I'm tempted to answer.

And so it begins…

BONG, BONG, BONG, BONG, BONG, BONG, BONG, BONG, BONG, BONG

Misery and poverty are so absolutely degrading, and exercize such a paralysing effect over the nature of men, that no class is ever really conscious of its own suffering. They have to be told of it by other people, and they often entirely disbelieve them.

i'm getting a pile of this comment on youtube with almost the same wording on each one

> I don't necessarily have a problem with Tuta's way. It depends how they use AI. If they use AI to scan the code to find vulnerabilities then that's fine because if Tuta doesn't do it then hackers will find them. Using AI as a tool is fine in my opinion but using AI as an entire coworker and letting it write your code is not

i wonder what it could be. surely they're completely unrelated

In case depressed Canadians forgot, we DO actually have a real progressive option (since our two other largest parties are right wing).

The NDP came out today proposing a wealth tax that would apply to people worth more than $10 million to pay for public grocery options, housing and healthcare.

@chrisp @isol I've got a NOCO Genius on it now. I may have to leave it plugged in if I'm not driving a lot.

They should also break up media monopolies, imo

@cwebber I saw the background (which could be straight out of Hackers honestly) before the preview image loaded, friend
