PRONOUNS ARE BACK, BABY

@BadSingleton @Kingu The way I see it, even if it's a very general unreasonable statement on its face, the fact you need to know if someone is Muslim and observing Ramadan limits its scope to your own friends who you would know both of those things about them.

For example, this broad statement doesn't affect me at all because I don't personally frequent any Ramadan-observing Muslim, and I can't assume for anyone else, no matter how sympathetic I am with the people choosing this self-inflicted ordeal.

Ohhhh, this sucks. This sucks bad.

One of the load-bearing UI features making Mastodon usable is the little "eye" in the corner. It unrolls all CWs in a thread at once. Coulda called attention to itself better, but it's critical.

Mastodon 5 it's just gone. No replacement. I wanted to link this thread I wrote on Bluesky, but like, I'm gonna have to explain to the Bluesky users how to unroll the posts and attachments. Can't just say "click eyeball"

Ho wow.

@TerryHancock "Too big to rig." :)

Absolutely delightfully brutal.

@cwebber
none of the above

It’s wild that just the thumbnail alone can tell you it’s vibe-coded.

In addition to the governor, Dems elected a number of other statewide office holders.

@EugestShirley Sorry to hear that! I hope so. The new dentist is my son's age, lol, was an Eagle Scout (his dad is also a dentist in the practice... has been my spouse's dentist for 30 years or so lol)

Okay found one semi tolerable

HI Dave, I signed up using the no Mobilizon option - should I just turn up on the day or is there a confirmation email I should look out for?

@alisynthesis

bought this riding skirt ~4y ago to go under my thick black medieval woollen cape (can't find a decent picture)

It's not pure wool, but a mixed fabric, but feels awesome nonetheless

@ai6yr On the Toy? Do you garage it or leave it outside? If outside putting solar panel on roof to maintain/trickle charge might not be bad idea. When I was fighting w health issues and just didn't have energy to drive unless had to, had my partner drive my car to work once a week. Even when they worked close enough to bike. There are also lot of battery disconnects you can buy manual or even bluetooth. I put manual one on previous car.

I will be very curious to see how the tech CEOs who abased themselves before Trump over the last two years behave in this new political climate.

It was. And they’ve also erased its generated disclosures.

@TheBreadmonkey This is why I wear cat ears on the job.

It's also why when somebody just says "Hello" on Teams, I answer with "meow?"
