It's a good time to remember what the politics of the US tech industry have been over the past two years, and to remember the things executives thought they could get away with

Deeply satisfying. May we never hear from the execrable Vivek again.
"After a high-spending race that plumbed the depths of political attacks, Dr. Amy Acton, a Democrat who served during the pandemic as Ohio’s chief public health officer, has been elected the state’s next governor, becoming the first woman to win the office, The Associated Press reported on Tuesday."

Canva is bringing its Affinity software to Linux, saying that an official build for the platform is now in 'active development'.
Affinity is free, but not open-source software, offering raster, vector, photo processing and publishing tools in a unified app.

@omgubuntu that’s amazing. Hopefully this brings more people on Linux which would also help accelerate the development of FOSS counterparts of these applications (GIMP, Inkscape, Krita, Scribus).
