At least with PieFed and Intestellar, I was seeing the duplicates the same way as on Lemmy/Voyager.
Yeh, sorry. I don't know if you saw my edit or are responding to my original comment. If the original, I was mistaken. If the edit, then it's a setting.
My one-second movie “Heartbeat,” created in BASIC on the Commodore 64, is part of the online One-Off Moving Image Festival 2026:
https://noemata.net/one-off/2026/
AND, it was also selected by a jury as one of ten one-second movies that will be presented this year on five urban screens in Copenhagen, November 8–22, in the 60Seconds Festival:
The crushing frustration of being largely helpless in a situation where someone else’s safety is at risk
@georgetakei Why is everyone comparing the size of their Oranges and Dictators?

I think I'm going to start tying any declining of social invitations to world events for no apparent reason.
"I'd love to come out, but, due to the uncertainty around the US mid term elections, I just can't"
"Sorry I can't make it, the Bank of England raised their base rate"
"I'm afraid I can't stay long, sugar beet yields are down"
Pam Palmater on why we should be wary of Wab Kinew championing the end of the Indian Act.
When Pam Palmater says we should be cautious on topics related to First Nations law, I listen to what she has to say.

I love how in Canada this is a national issue of such high importance that it needs to be referred to the Prime Ministers office for a ruling.
@mike Priorities! 👍🏻
The EU is ok with sharing because it conveys a better value by far than legacy capitalism. After all its sovereignty isn't threatened if other countries also reclaim their sovereignty! But gov't investment in software by communities (don't get me wrong - this stuff is written mostly by experienced professionals!) isn't just an EU thing - if NZ (and AU and the UK, etc.) do the same, it forms the basis for a 'virtuous cycle' - the opposite of a 'vicious circle' - where we can use savings...

As an aside - the EU is also 'ok with sharing' because the licenses of the code they're building upon *require it*. It helps keep any lingering legacy capitalist tendencies in check.
Good night, and good luck.
