I'm writing this from my new GNOME-running #OpenBSD laptop. Everything works so well.
I can't remember if I ever ran #GNOME before in OpenBSD. I might have done it briefly a number of years ago.
Given the touchpad issue in #NetBSD where my cursor was jumping all over the place, highlighting and deleting text at random, in OpenBSD touchpad tapping is off by default.
I turned it on with wsconsctl and am testing how well I can type with it.
So far it's a lot less sensitive (in a good way).
@passthejoe oooo, what version are you on? Any more serious problems you encountered?

I don't want to jinx it, but based on election spam I'm getting now all mentioning exactly where my polling place is, I think my voter registration has finally properly been processed. All I had to do was live here and attempt to vote every year for five years.

@drq я думаю главная проблема фильма в том, что он должен был рассказать историю тем, кто вообще не был в курсе. Либо был в курсе, но это было давно и всё вот это. Но по факту получилось тупо. "Обычных" зрителей фильм по сути обошёл стороной и ничего им не дал, а фанатам гта он не дал ничего, потому что был не для них. Но именно фанаты гта его среди себя и расфорсили. Особенно недавно на фоне новых микроскандалов. Так что получилось, повторюсь, тупо.
Прикольного можно было нарыть много чего. Можно было бы комедийно обыграть, почему в журналах с анонсами ГТА СА просто дофига ложной информации. Или сделать сценку как они режут версию для ПК чтобы она работала. Много чего. Но нет, нам дали неоднозначность там где она не нужна, драма по давно известным событиям и сцены, которые никуда не ведут. Как в этом фильме видят комедию мне вообще не понятно.

Heads up: A password management app/platform called Msecure from mSeven Software says it recently learned of suspicious activity associated with its app. Here is the important part of their advisory:
"Given the potential security implications, mSeven recommends that you immediately take steps to protect all confidential information stored within the mSecure password management application. This may include changing passwords, resetting or re-enrolling two-factor authentication methods, or removing existing passkeys."
There isn't much else to the notice. I've pasted the entire thing below anyway.
"Important Security Notice
mSeven Software (“mSeven”) recently learned of suspicious activity associated with the mSecure password management application. In response, mSeven quickly launched an investigation, took steps to mitigate the issue, and engaged external cybersecurity experts to assist. You are receiving this email because you are a current or former mSecure customer.
Given the potential security implications, mSeven recommends that you immediately take steps to protect all confidential information stored within the mSecure password management application. This may include changing passwords, resetting or re-enrolling two-factor authentication methods, or removing existing passkeys.
We regret any inconvenience that this may cause.

@briankrebs I have been a 1password user for years. I have been happy with it and I like that it can integrate easily with Fastmail masked
email addresses.
I use the shared vaults and service accounts to confine credentials to contexts, probably not typical usage, I use apple's Passwords to share streaming service credentials with my family and use rules to rely PINs to my email 😂
Four people get those OTPs; my partner my ex-wife, and my kids 😅
