@pixelfed @dansup A bit disappointed that #Columnly got Web Push notifications before #Pixelfed 😉

@TheBreadmonkey @zalasur a few years ago, I developed a habit of pressing one nostril whenever I raised a pint of cider to my face.

No, it was not cocaine.

@EUCommission

Its hard to praise something that exists compared to something you hope for, but I am eternally grateful that mass human sanity is capable of of creating the European Union.

Not because it is the noun good, but the verb. We can do self government, we can avoid rhe madnesses. We can act together.

I am glad, impressed, hopeful Canada sees integrating with Europe is a sane, powerful, parh to strengthening civilization.

Hoorah for Europe, viva, bravo, cool.

With news like that we feel completely helpless and idiots.
Do our fellow workers understand that we are not on the same boat with the bourgeoisie?

@GossiTheDog @protonprivacy
Its called 'Doing a Proton' 😜
They did that last time over Pro-Republican comments iirc, tried to explain it away then threw their toys out of the pram and stormed off Mastodon, only to sheepishly return some time later with a far worse reputation.
So expect some petulant flouncing quite soon.😂

Pixelfed recalculates all users as active on server update (or at least 0.15.2 update) so the MAU is going to be massively wrong for a large part of the fediverse. It was pretty meaningless already but now we have another specific reason for it.

@TheBreadmonkey Too late. You can't take it back. I've read it and I fully intend to imbibe that information for my own personal use. So THERE.

@riley @aesthr @bencourtice

My husband's family is Ukrainian and I've had to up my egg decoration game a good bit just to keep up.

But now I'm thinking of making spooky pysanka and getting very excited. Next year it's ON.

Here is the thing: appview would only be necessary for search. The rest can be done directly asking pds-es

@mhoye @hazelweakly The press has been very credulous. Articles about hundreds of difficult problems in mathematics being solved, and mathematicians have to cope with their discipline being eliminated.

Then way down the page, oh by the way, parts of the proofs are plagiarized, no one has verified anything, overall the proofs look like gibberish, and the science magazines are just taking the tech companies at their word.
