@Blort We get to $15K in the next hour, I dedicate my next book to @mwl's rats.

when the remains of AI is a mountain of tech debt, will they half-ass fixing it? not if they can quarter-ass it

@jalefkowit you know, its shit like this that gives me cause to remind people "if you can debone a chicken, you can debone a person!". a sufficiently sharp kitchen knife, and a powerful enough stroke aimed at the wrist or elbow is enough to do a full on anime style literal actual increment of mayhem.

What if we kissed while our hands were stuck in the horrifying fetish popcorn bucket

@ai6yr austin had these but I don’t know if they are still the same format.

@mattblaze Please share where you end up (I'm sure you will). This is exhausting.

Linux Magazine talked to us about how and why we build Bonfire.

What we want next is "not a bigger Bonfire, but a network of cooperatives covering the whole supply chain of a community's digital space", who "do it together" rather than leave you to "do it yourself".

Because "federation, we don't see it as just a technical thing. We see it as a social, economic, and political tool as well."

Also happy to spread the love for @coopcloud@social.coop, @coquest@social.coop, @SocialCoop@social.coop and more, check out the links at the end of the article! Thanks to @horncologne@fosstodon.org for a lovely conversation, and @linuxmagazine@fosstodon.org for publishing it, in a piece that also features the great @cwebber@social.coop and @tsyesika@mastodon.nu from @spritely@social.coop.

'For The Setting Sun' is out now! 🌅

This is the first full-length album from CommsBreakdown and me, exploring the mellow, downtempo side of our collaboration.

Our album encompasses the tranquil moods of sun-lit late afternoons, turning the warmth of golden time into a cosy aural blanket. It’s chill-out music with the warmth of dusk in the air. I hope you enjoy it!

@davidgerard "only my computer can have RAM and it must have all of it."

@jdm_ do you / would servo care about this / is this worth filing. in a test session, servoshell failed to pick up a number of favicons it really should have been able to and more interestingly, when a favicon failed it simply continued showing the previous favicon instead of showing nothing as expected https://mastodon.social/@mcc/117532850534715532

...this is way less frugal than Brutaldon, pretty easy to set up with an existing Yunohost (minus the config file syntax error), and I haven't seen any major problems.

In comparison, all my attempts to get Brutaldon running locally were extremely flimsy and error-prone.
