Huh. But ironic that the best tip I received for a fully Canadian email hosting service just came through a non-bridged Bsky account replying to my bridged projection !
Ok, Fedi, tell me about NorthMail for personal or small orgs that need minimal, but own-domain mail services? I actually really need only ONE account per “organization”, with forwarded aliases managed by me or the org. As inexpensively as is sustainable for a non-enshittifying service. Eg, we can pay, but not huge bills.

@qwyllion I've seeing lots of bots that are pretending to be 10/10 baddies that can somehow only find their soulmate on Pixelfed. And yeah, like you pointed out, they seem to be following men with their faces as profile pics. Gonna have to try changing mine too to see if that'll slow it down for me.

For those shopping for email providers, I use Posteo. At the time I was looking at them, AI hadn't quite been shoved everywhere yet so I didn't ask them their policy. https://posteo.de/en

@ColinTheMathmo I use mailbox.org (DE) for email and TABDigital (NL) for nextcloud. Happy with both.
