In this thread, I’m going to use a lawsuit filed yesterday on behalf of California election workers to illustrate how coordinated the Trump regime’s onslaught is and how the pro-democracy bar is well-aware of that.

I note at the outset that this is not normal. We cannot have free and fair elections in the United States if lawyers must work round the clock to safeguard elections from the federal government to close ballot access and disrupt the counting of millions of Americans’ votes. 2/

@scanlime I don't care too much about SNI since I already log the Host header which is more detailed/precise anyway (particularly since I use a wildcard cert), but having total transfer size would be nice. I think the 'size' field only captures the response size, not the request size.

@fluffy that reminds me i seem to remember some security hazards involving sni != host, could be something to keep in mind if you use both for different purposes. i've seen advice to overwrite host with sni early. i brought it up just because it could be applicable if your front proxy didn't terminate ssl

As people who read my posts already know, in NM, where I live, my organization, Land of Action, has been doing election watching. Having lots and lots of authorized people viewing elections is one way to have a deep well of evidence that elections have been conducted properly, and that therefore, there should be NO delays in counting ballots and certifying results. 12/

Every pro-democracy lawyer and legal scholar I know is concerned about the strategy the Trump regime is pursuing. Many are working to prepare post-Election-Day responses to it. Here’s what you can do to help.
First, call anybody you know who is eligible to vote but may not have cast a ballot yet. Talk with them about when and where they will vote. Help them figure out how to get to the polls. 13/

Hey is there like. A website. That two people can connect to. And it does a P2P/STUN/TURN thing and sends the file from the one to the other. "Magic Wormhole". Or something. Is that a thing that exists. Or do I have to set it up myself. Please do not recommend to me a website where I can upload a multi-gigabyte file to a server and then another person downloads it from the server

Overall I think it's fine as a first book to read on non-monogamy and polyamory, especially if you're the target audience of people trying to open up an existing monogamous relationship, which I am just not.

@aesthr random sidenote: it's really refreshing to read an opinion of someone on something just saying: "this is not for me" rather than "this is generally bad and you're not allowed to like it". I've never been a super judgy person in matters of personal taste but you're among a few people who I've seen actively examining that question and I never really did that myself (at least not intentionally) and it's a thing I'm now trying to do more often. so thanks for this rather simple but helpful way of thinking :)

I'm not a security professional, certainly not an expert, but I do know an a-hole when I see one. I don't need every company I spend money with to be all sunshine, lollipops, and rainbows 24/7, but I will not give money to someone I actively despise. I despise Yen, and I switched VPNs yesterday specifically to deny that asshole any more of my money.
