Does anyone know any not-for-profits or charities who would be interested in hiring a senior ruby on rails engineer? I am based in London but happy to work remotely, or potentially split my time.

I would also be very interested in working on an open source project.

I was tech lead at a health tech in my last position. Have worked in tech for 20 years from systems administrator, to php, to ruby.

PSA: you're not meant to write "uint32_t" every time. They chose that name to be deliberately awkward, to avoid collisions with existing code because nobody in their right mind would actually use it. You're meant to typedef it to something sane like "u32".

@nathell @yogthos @hanshuebner Back in 1983, my BBC Micro booted straight into #Lisp. Most BBC Micros didn't do this, but the boot ROM was socketed and replaceable, and a Lisp ROM was available, so mine did. Obviously with 32 Kb of RAM including video memory, it was a small Lisp system, and interpreter only; but surprisingly rich. This reminds me of your single floppy Lisp idea.
