@MoritzGlantz Für solche Gelegenheiten habe ich Audio Hijack und LoopBack von Rogue Amoeba, wo man sein Mikrofonsignal erst durch Audio Hijack schickt, dann an ein Passthrough-Device in LoopBack und dieses als Mikrofonquelle nimmt. Und dann kannst Du nämlich Deinem Eingang alle möglichen Effekte hinterher schalten wie einen Denoiser usw. Was für ein Interface hast Du denn? Und warum macht es Dir Probleme?
@marcozehe mein Mikro (SM7B) nimmt zu viel Raum und rauschen auf. Ich bin mir gerade nicht sicher warum. Daher wollte ich mal zumindest nen sanften cut unter einer bestimmten Lautstärke schwelle machen.

You can't think of 3 qualities that make your child special, so you ask an AI Assistant? NO, NO, NO, NO. UNACCEPTABLE.

or that her daughter told her about this at the very last minute and Mayer, like **all parents got flustered ?

An dem Tag (kurz nach Beginn des Irakkrieges war das, glaube ich), als Hegseths Team dieses mit Macarena unterlegte Kampfflieger-Video veröffentlicht hatte, habe ich ernsthaft an meinem Verstand gezweifelt. Ok, das Problem könnte auch in Hegseths Kopf liegen.
Gestern las ich sowas wie: wir sind Figuren in einer Serie, aber die Autoren haben gekündigt und jetzt schreiben einige kokainsüchtige Waschbären die Handlung. Und das klingt realistisch.

The whole lesson here if we live to learn it should be that even when politics are boring, they’re still important. When all you see are old white dudes, it’s the people you elected that put them there - not the presidents themselves, but everyone else on the ballot in your local and state elections that you probably never even thought about, much less made an informed vote for.
If all your ever did was think about your presidential vote - or didn’t even bother to do that - then you specifically voted for the status quo, namely, the old white dudes. If you want change during the boring times you need to go and make it with your vote. I get it - I was the same “what’s the point?” voter, but I’m not anymore, and I’d hope anyone who lived through this will have grown that much at least.
That was something my parents taught me when I was in kindergarten.
Everything is politics. Where you live, what you eat, what kind of job you have. Everything is political.

@aesthr @espyeen I actually have a pretty nice home theater setup with a 65" screen and a nice hifi audio setup and so on and Nolan films are just like... wellp I guess I got to turn on subtitles for this one, too

Serious question: If you willingly use generative "AI", do you believe you're immune to or sufficiently protected from de-skilling, cognitive decline, and what's commonly known as "AI psychosis"?
If yes: What makes you believe that? How are you special?
If no: Why do you still use it, given that you're aware of the risks to your cognition? Do you just accept it?
