@ApostateEnglishman I was at a cups and balls master class (that I had no business being anywhere near) a while back, and it was like seeing it for the first time. And yes, Teller's transparent cups are just something to behold.

I believe Muse is the first groundbreaking consumer product of the AI era. It reminds me of Apple revolutionizing MP3 players with the iPod and smartphones with the iPhone.

@carnage4life Muse may not suck as much ass as the rest of these LLM-based projects, but the juice is still not worth the squeeze.
(The squeeze being the ecological, political, economic, and cultural damage caused by LLMs, which will take generations to repair.)

Throwback to about 20 years ago when I thought it would be funny to make beer koozies with the baby on board logo on them, but I had to buy them in bulk so I ended up with like 20 of them so I brought them up to my current husband's family barbecue and then my husband's family thought it was a messed up pregnancy announcement.
@Alice bonus points if you get custom canned beer colored blue or pink and act like it's a gender reveal
this is the essential problem with centrist #democrats:
to win, they try to appeal to right wingers
right wingers are bigots and ignorants. they are not going to stop voting #GOP
and, by trying to appeal to right wingers, they lose the left, and lose the #election
the left is the base of the left. if you betray them, you lose. period
there is no center to appeal to. at least, not anymore in this godforsaken country

This attitude is why the internet is full of ads. Doing shit for free doesn’t happen on an empty stomach. I’d rather pay a fair price for software and services I use. I’m not saying anyone’s pricing is fair, just pointing out I don’t agree with this behavior.

It’s five bucks a month and has a lot of functionality.
Has a worse voting system than first-past-the-post ever been used in real world elections? When we use first-past-the-post, are we literally using the worst voting method of all time?
Because I've been saying that literally any other voting system would be better, but I want to make sure I'm not being unfair to the shitty status quo.
