Hay proyectos que necesitan algo más 👀
Este AMD Threadripper forma parte de uno de nuestros últimos servidores para IA, configurado y montado a medida.
Pronto os enseñamos el resto🔧

And once I have the core together, there's more projects I'll be recommending:
I'll be keen to rope in a marketer who can, without flinching, build website promoting Alonzo to recovering vibe coders.
Also if someone wants to design a standard library to aid parsing text/bytes... That'd open up some possibilities!
Or you could help design a macro system, that might be interesting to have! I'm not designing standard-libs.
Anyone interested in eventually doing these? Once Alonzo's ready?
2/1!
@alcinnz The macro system could be an interesting addition!
Executives are more likely to trust AI over themselves
Executives are twice as likely as rank-and-file workers to trust AI over their own judgment, per a survey out Wednesday morning.
It’s a worrying development. Leaders are hired for their experience and knowledge.
Outsourcing that to AI raises the risk of making decisions that don’t line up with reality, which then reverberate across companies and beyond.

Fediverse
The Britannica entry for the Fediverse is really good
It isn’t that surprising but it is somewhat surprising.
Unlike X (formerly Twitter) or Facebook, which remain in business by profiting from consumers’ personal information, the fediverse aims to give users privacy and an ad-free interface.
We're hiring a Community Data & AI Programme Lead to grow our AI for Communities work into a programme that runs consistently, without losing what makes it work: starting from people's own experience, not teaching at them.
Lived experience counts as much as professional background. No degree required.

Meta hit with $25 Billion penalty for deceiving users about privacy on Facebook
Moral: Do NOT use the F word¹ on the Google support forums, you WILL be moderated for "inappropriate language" and your posts removed.
¹ "F-Droid"
@mcc F-Droid getting censored for that is quite something.

Nostr & Farcaster support nearly ready in Bridgy Fed, but currently with no plans to launch them
Nostr & Farcaster support nearly ready in Bridgy Fed, but... #fediverse #bridgyfed #nostr #farcaster
Blog post goes in detail as to why, but it has less to do with the technical side of things and more with the organizational side of things (edit, and of values too).

dreams: AI-accelerated workflows
reality: AI-decelerates work, not much flows
Hearing that the Queen grows worse again, I sent to stop the making of my velvet cloake, till I see whether she lives or dies.
Sensitive Sam.
I think the next thing I need to vibe code is a tool for making big reusable tilesets for things like cities, forests, where there are a lot of repeatable sections but it's hard to carefully lay it out
“but I’m bad at writing! etc. ”. it’s better than garbage. people are willing to help improve it if it’s genuine.
@hbons I think the thing with the writing is what at least irritates me the most. I see so many people shocked that I write everything myself and others who just gave up entirely on writing
