but it's a game about how the game developer likes slavery! how can this be the one that fucks up the least?
what's messing with me the most in this game that I know is about slavery but I haven't gotten past the intro dialogue yet is that I can't tell whether they're trying to write it in a formal and archaic voice and fucking up or trying not to do that and fucking up

To get a project featured on the subreddit, developers now need to show it has been actively maintained for at least a year, has an established community, and has at least three contributors, give or take. Student projects such as note-taking apps and PDF viewers aren’t welcome either, and developers can no longer use the subreddit to find people willing to help maintain their software.
That creates a chicken-and-egg problem for independent developers, who apparently need an established community before they can use an open source forum to find one. Even projects with no AI involvement could fall foul of the rules. One Reddit user pointed out that their nine-year-old project, which has more than 300 GitHub stars and dozens of resolved issues, would no longer qualify because they’re its sole contributor.
The moderator also imposed a minimum Reddit account age of one year and requires significant prior contributions. Anyone who attempts to post and then contacts the moderators seeking an exception risks being permanently banned and muted.

He did a shitty thing, he signed a commitment and reneged on it. He sat and lost a few hundred grand. I don't really have much respect for him but I'm not going to get angry over it. It's done let's try and make the playoffs.

That’s why I have this account. I only have to break it out once or twice a year, honestly. For the most part out server is pretty stable, but then every now and then, a rare Azorian moss creeps in though the window hosting the server, and begins to colonize. This results in much delicate work, as @ProdigalFrog@slrpnk.net and @poVoq@slrpnk.net carefully scrape the moss off the motherboards, using hori-hori knives imported directly from Japan. They then coax the moss onto several 9x13 Pyrex dishes loaded with a home made agar and begin the trek up Mount Pico, to relocate the moss to its natural habitat. This is only done under light or a full moon and with much chanting. If done right, a Satyr emerges from the bushes (erect phallus and all), playing melodic flute music, and thanks them for restoring the nomadic moss back to the wild. After a few moments of awkward silence for both the admins walk back down the slope, wondering what actually just fucking happen, and how this became part of the routine maintenance of the server.
