@booteille

Bon, je vais faire confiance à mon super hébergeur Octopuce !

Three cheers for @kenney - we use his art packs and he pisses off pricks by telling people to believe in themselves.

@jk exactly. Like in 2021, the Colonial Oil Pipeline systems were attacked by ransomware. Ended up shut down for a few days. Made huge news.
But it was just the billing software. The system worked just fine, and they COULD have just delayed billing and done it manually.

But no...

There’s no point making nuanced takes here you will just be misrepresented

@kalon33 Yes, will be open sourcing it within the week :)

@neil @dianea nooooooooooo 🤣

@kittyboy77 I am trying to take you seriously here.

What I read is the vague/passive accusation of active exclusion. What I can confirm is that there is always a jerk everywhere, including among those calling for DEI.

And what I experience myself across the many communities that I am part of is active welcoming. People from all sorts of backgrounds and demographics are part of the projects.

If you have a specific request to any community, the way to go is gentle participation. Thanks.

Nice work! Will it be opensourced?

@gregsie i got it to work with enabling the dbus service and following .xsession:

export XDG_RUNTIME_DIR=/tmp/run/$(id -u)
if [ ! -d $XDG_RUNTIME_DIR ]; then
mkdir -m 700 -p $XDG_RUNTIME_DIR
fi

export QT_FORCE_STDERR_LOGGING=1
export XDG_CURRENT_DESKTOP=KDE
export DESKTOP_SESSION=plasma
/usr/local/bin/startplasma-x11 > ~/.startplasma-x11.log 2>&1

you also need to increase some params for open files: https://www.coreystephan.com/openbsd-thinkpad/#performance (nice article in general with a lot of hints for desktop usage of openbsd)

I do understand: you want permission. There’s a machine in the corner wrapped in human skin that makes things out of shit and blood to look like whatever you want (as long as you don’t look too closely). You gave one to your teacher and they didn’t notice. Your boss told you to use it after they laid off half the team and it was fine. You fed one to your kids and they liked it. You want to know you can use it sometimes without me thinking less of you. You don’t need me to believe it’s useful, you just want me to be polite about it.

But I am a hater, and I will not be polite. The machine is disgusting and we should break it. The people who build it are vapid shit-eating cannibals glorifying ignorance. I strongly feel that this is an insult to life itself.

A software problem, isn't it? Or do you look at the keys when you type?
