@itsfoss I tried that with a Pi 3B+. That one didn't have enough power, lagging like hell. Might be much better on recent ones, to be fair.

Underappreciated aspect of IT procurement: keyboard layouts. I easily lose 1% productivity daily because I am using a German keyboard layout at work and a US keyboard layout everywhere else. They are annoyingly different, e.g., the Y and Z being in swapped positions trips me up regularly.

Melbourne Fedi, it is about that time of year to think about changing gas suppliers.
I intensely dislike our current supplier Globird because they never read the meter aligned with the bills which makes every single bill based on an estimated reading which makes tracking actual usage almost impossible and it is just intensely irritating.
Can anyone tell me gas suppliers who ACTUALLY do read the meter and issue bills based on actual readings which is not something they tell you in those comparison tools.
Any company that reads meters regularly goes to the top end of the list.
@fraser Do retailers choose who reads your meter? I understood that they all outsource meter reading to the same company(ies).
