@neil
This used to be the case, now it is mostly avoided using @atuin to see what I used last, with AI off and self-hosted sync.
Though since it has gone the LLM route, I'm open to unpoisoned alternatives if anyone has suggestions for something comparable with sync.
(Also https://tldr.sh/ is helpful)
@tschundler I just keep my bash history in sync, and use that!
I loved the idea of atuin, but perhaps I was not enough of a power user to get the most from it.
Time to upgrade my Ubuntu desktop again today. I wonder what will break? 😀
@CaringKinderSociety Ah, so nice! Good luck, small friends. I always appreciate how good parents magpies always seem to be - very diligent and attentive ^_^
@Cheeseness They're amazing ❤️ It's such an honour that they come close to us but never too close. A front row seat to wild bird behaviour. 🫶🐣🐥

Too many MCs not enough crabs
I don't have any details underpinning this rejection.
Perhaps it is because there were multiple proposals for a DEI track, of which only one was accepted. Unlikely, perhaps, but not impossible.

@arstechnica Back when it was quite new, I read the original PHP book and concluded that I wanted nothing to do with this crap. No regrets!

Breaking News: Hegseth points to Starlink terms of service in Ukraine speed cap dispute
"We haven't pulled anything back," Hegseth said. "There are terms of service that ultimately need to be complied to, and that's where Starlink has the option to make those decisions."
"Nothing's changed from our view," the secretary said. "We haven't made any directives or anything like that, and we wish the Ukrainians obviously success."

@Cheeseness They are such great photo's. Our little family are very lively in the Lilli Pilli tree and one baby has fledged onto its branches. The other one remains noisily occupying the nest while the two parent birds go back and forth with food. My video isn't clear but they're in there and safely camouflaged. Plenty of noise to locate them too.
I took this just now -
