What to make of this latest WSJ report that it was Musk who ordered the 'kill switch' on Starlink in Ukraine.
Perhaps the single most important revelation from this report is that a major national security military decision was executed by an individual completely sidestepping the US military command.
The second thing to note is that US officials seem to be throwing Musk under the bus now that the action is to blame for numerous deaths.

Musk and US President Donald Trump discussed the Starlink decision in a call soon after the slowdown became public... the two had also discussed the matter prior to the decision to throttle Starlink.
