You could visit someone’s site that was devoted to things they loved, and you’d come away with the idea that they put something of themselves in it.

Sure, there were assholes and trolls and spammers. But it was mostly people talking about things that made them human.

But nowadays, there’s little of that. And if you try, it’s “slop”.

@mcc I just use Visual Studio and set a target in my solution file to whatever project files and then setup my dependency graph in there. MSBuild seems to read the sln, though sometimes I have to set the target.
Recently I’ve stated using dotnet build which I think just wraps msbuild.
