Cranberrymoons on Tumblr posts: “ i saw wicker in a completely sold out 4dx theater, which is the most objectively hilarious way to see wicker. the seats are arranged in units of four like on a roller coaster, and a row of seats is made up of three or four units of four. if that makes sense. when i got to my seat, the other three seats were already filled by a group of women who I think are friends because they were all talking. i was by myself, so i was like hey :) to be nice and so it wouldn’t be weird that i was joining their rollercoaster group. the girl right next to me turns to me and says Hi. We’re all here right now. like. lol. and i was like yeah we are. lmao. and we all laughed. and I don’t know if you’ve ever been to a 4d movie before but the seats always move so much more than you think they’re going to. so eventually the movie starts and the movement of the seats is kind of regular: swaying us in time with the camera, a little butt vibration here and there. etc. Until. the first time olivia colman fucks her wicker basket husband. and the seats start thrusting. like. Thrusting. 150 people in this movie theater, many of whom are now covered in the popcorn and diet coke which is flying everywhere, being thrust in rhythm as olivia colman gets her spine realigned by a wicker basket. everyone is screaming laughing, insane experience being had by all. on screen, they’re fucking so hard they break the bed. our 4dx seats jostle us as if we’ve also broken the bed. my hair is in my face and i’m holding onto the arm rests of my seat trying not to fall out while they/we continue to fuck on the floor. eventually they Finish and with a final thrust it stops. a beat of stunned silence in the theater while everyone catches their breath. and then the whole room starts cheering and clapping.”
