I do have a work mobile as I am on overnight support and I didn't want my personal phone ringing in the middle of the night, also I didn't want my personal number available to people at work unless I specifically gave it to them. I barely know it, why should other people?
When I (re)joined in 2021 desk phones at the work place were already a thing of the past. They appear to have become extinct somewhere between 2018 and 2021.
Most "calls" to other work people are via Zoom (preferred by me) or Teams
And there we have it, as anticipated. Like clockwork, after saying 19x he would never ever work with Opportunity, Luxon now says that of course he'd work with Opportunity, and that there needs to be "more cross party collaboration".
