As for FEPs, I do plan on publishing AP extension proposals, but I'm making sure it federates nicely with other Harmony instances before having everyone implement their own versions.
That way I can say it's not theorized but functional and demonstrably so.
Definitely want to publish the drafts I have, soon, though.
@llamasoft_ox i worked for a mobile game company that had to shutter several years ago. they had a couple of top-10 app store titles...with some interesting gameplay.
it all collapsed. it's insane, there's SO much potential.
maybe it'll resurface some day. it feels like low-hanging fruit, doesn't it?
@wohali it may seem like an easy target in terms of game design but the chilling thing I learned from all this is that the actual quality of what you make, in terms of just being an enjoyable thing for people to play, means absolutely nothing. Mobile games are made with the sole objective of extracting the most amount of money from users as ruthlessly as possible. They are just vehicles to get players locked into an addictive playloop as tightly as possible.

when you are blocked, you can’t respond. it’s how twitter, Facebook, and new reddit blocking works. it’s a great way to stop people from correcting misinformation, since they can’t see it when logged in, and couldn’t respond even if they could see it.
Blocking seems kinda pointless, its just muting if itsnt symmetric

@mcc I have two openwrt routers with one extending range if that's what you mean... I'm pretty sure the number of extenders is sufficiently arbitrary.

I should probably do a disclaimer in the readme but here's what I've used AI for:
- the docs, landing page, UI/Mobile quirk fixes, skins, performance & stress testing, i use LLM to review PRs before merging, i use LLM for recent changelogs and announcements, the login/sign-up artwork is AI and more
I'd love to eventually pay an artist, but I can hardly afford the hosting as it is.
