What happens to stories if they are federated to server which does not support the 24h lifecycle of a post / do not implement the FEP?
Will they be sent as deleted to the other server after 24h, so they will be gone there too? Or what will happen then?

I shipped a new command to clear out old federated statuses on Pixelfed (without any local interactions) yesterday, and so far it's purged 80 million posts from the database!
We don't cache remote media by default, so it's a pretty efficient process.
The statuses table was over 300GB, and is estimated to be under 25GB when finished!
