This right here is why in a two party system you don’t vote for the no chance of winning third party candidate, why you don’t stay home. Absolute nail biter in Mississippi race for U.S. Senate. 1/
@heidilifeldman Yeah! And why “oh, why bother voting, my vote won’t matter” is (yet again) shown to be nonsense! 28 votes, that’s the difference between the two, between Senator Cindy vs Senator Scott

So is https://github.com/mastodon/mastodon/security/advisories/GHSA-3xjw-gv43-3w62 a component in the recent wave of account takeovers then?
"A flaw in the log-in logic allowed a local user to switch to a different inactive local user mid-login, generating a sign-in token email for them without their password. They could then complete log-in as that different user [..]" - only if 2FA was enabled and the account was inactive for over three months.
@galaxis We have not seen any exploitation of this on our side.
Big crypto loss: In Wisconsin District 1, Democrat Mitchell Berman beats incumbent Bryan Steil, who chairs the House Financial Services subcommittee on digital assets. Fairshake spent $1M on Steil, Crypto.com spent $880K on attack ads against Berman via a PAC created solely to oppose him.
love seeing those guys blow money.....good wins

When you've got a big bird, and you open it up, and there's a slightly smaller bird inside. And then you open the slightly smaller bird and there's an even smaller bird inside.
These are known as nesting birds.
"We've got a nesting bird up in the tree."
- "Cool, how many are there inside of each other?"
- "What?"
Hlasování v USA skončilo uzavřením posledních volebních místností na Aljašce na severozápadě země s více než 340 miliony obyvatel. Američané volili nové složení Sněmovny reprezentantů a třetiny Senátu, vybírali také 39 guvernérů.
Thanks, America. And thanks my fellow citizens of my city. It’s this first time I’ve felt proud of you since… maybe ever? 2020 destroyed my faith in my neighbors. Tonight it’s been more than restored.

I’m getting tired of waiting for the results, so I vibed a way better election voting app. It stores everything in JSON, check it out –http://localhost:3000
@shanselman just shows cat pictures for me.
@Cheeseness I love your photo's ❤️👍
I just took this short video on my phone of our two local juveniles Magpies. Their parent birds are providing them with plenty of moths and insects but it's such an honour even to have them pay a fleeting visit to the deck. Plenty of grubs in the grass below it.
@CaringKinderSociety Ah, it's lovely to see them, and so lucky to have them visiting your deck! They've still got a little fluff, but both have well developed tail feathers (maybe moreso than the ones I've been visiting). Thank you so much for sharing <3
@heidilifeldman The DSCC and Chuck Schumer refused to invest in Mississippi.

This is really Chuck's worst nightmare, he absolutely didn't want control of the Senate

sorry for the negativity, but it's not like I go looking for this stuff. it's slapped in my face every single day.
I desperately want to be left behind but it's not happening.
