@tallstorygames Come on how are you going to get Exposure unless you provide 4 keys to your game*.

Hey American friends, it's midterm election day.
Trump would be real upset to know that I - a Canadian - was influencing your vote but you know what? Fuck it. I owe him nothing.
Vote for your Democrat representative.
Trump has destroyed the relationship between us - and you can fix it.
Fix it by sending Trump a clear signal you're not on board.
This is the first step in making reparations here. Granted, it's not over until Trump is out of office and it will still take many years before I consider travelling to your country - this is your chance to start making these reparations with not only Canadians, but the world.
Stunt his reign and prove that democracy stands higher than the kleptocracy he's created.
The world is literally watching.

Goodreads removed RSS and some people are asking for alternatives on Reddit; maybe worth pointing to BookWyrm and NeoDB?
Goodreads removed RSS and some people are asking for... #fediverse #goodreads #bookwyrm #neodb #rssfeeds
Both fediverse softwares that support user reviews for books, both have RSS support natively (no Piefed/Misskey bridge needed), and some comments also seem discontent with Amazon's mismanagement overall.
You would have to be a nutty to call any digital communications anonymous. The devices that run the code are full of holes.
Sudo- anonymous is the best you can get, be honest, stay safe.
Meanwhile on FB... 🐂

comment violates rule: Stay on-topic to the Goodreads app/website - Book recommendations, discussion about Goodreads alternatives or proposed improvements to Goodreads, surveys/school projects, and general discussion of reading as a hobby are all considered off-topic.
I don’t think the mods there are going to let you.

It's crazy that systems made to take control away from users are including increasingly large bogs of noncode in their source made to be inauditable and for 0 people to take responsibility of said noncode due to technical and administrative trickery put in place to disenfranchise users
But enough about Linux

As is often the case, the take that is steering me in the right direction after feeling sad about all this is coming from @mcc
@cwebber as someone who likes solving coding puzzles just because i can and because i enjoy people going "ohhhh" at it on social media this is still pretty depressing

Hello lovely people, today we're doing a magnificent un-launch for More Tiny Moments of Joy: Spotted While Roaming in Aotearoa New Zealand***.
If you'd like a copy for yourself or for Christmas Gifting shenanigans**, you can get one here*:
https://www.swashbucklerpress.com/tiny-moments-of-joy
*Prices in NZD, so much cheaper in Aud, GBP, Euro, USD etc.
Available in print and ebook.😊🪻🌷
** I'm not saying that buying author direct will imbue you with the the kind of Space Maaaage abilities that Q from Star Trek brandished around, but you never know!
***Due to the amazing Sir Patrick Stewart passing last Friday, we decided to forestall all book launching shenanigans and settled for eating nachos, watching Star Trek and letting ourselves be a little sad. (All good now!)
Thank you for reading my un-launching whatnot!💐🌻🌸
I'm currently re-learning Blender. @darkwolf is keeping me company and learning it as well. We're both at the stage where we can do some hard-surface modelling, set up some lights and a camera, and animate bits and pieces in the scene.
There's a lot more to learn, so we're doing a little challenge.
We've both been selectors for @brothersoul's Pick 'n Mix show on LABR, so this idea to do a handful of one-minute looping blender videos for their livestream would be a good way to help a brother out, as well as test and expand our Blender skills.
It's set up like the famous challenges by pwnisher on YouTube. We have a basic template and we imagine different scenes using those shapes to inspire and build upon. It's been really fun, and is giving us an opportunity to try out different skills and disciplines on a bite-sized project.
If you follow #LABR you may have already seen a couple of them.

i feel like you could sub in sentences about inventions of women too, including computers, programming, wifi, etc etc etc and talk about how we're told we don't belong and how men started charging admission
