@sebsauvage Pas exhaustif. L'auteur admet lui-même les faiblesses de son approche quand il s'agit d'aborder des genres qui ont été largement confinés au Japon. Mais extrêmement bien documenté quand-même. Avec un petit pic de nostalgie pour tout le monde puisqu'il s'agit de balayer presque 50 ans d'histoire du JV.

@molly0xfff @ssiekmann That's an especially depressing blind spot because it seems like it should be the most familiar part. 'Crypto' likes to exaggerate how much the math really matters; but there are details there that you would expect a finance reporter to need to read up on if they want to get into the weeds. "Shady things happen on quasi-securities markets and people do perjury and fraud sometimes" seem like much more universal concepts.

Social justice and inclusion are good things. I believe strongly that we want to make a more just society that gives people equal opportunities and provides a safety net. This is my view as a disabled person, and as a Jew.
And because I believe in these values, it makes me very angry and upset when I see those very values and goals hijacked by people who use them as a weapon against others to harm, shame, and silence others.
I've seen this happen several times and I've seen communities genuinely perplexed at how to respond to it.
This video is by someone who generally talks about right wing oligarchs, who lives in a post-soviet country. I haven't even bothered to look at the comments because I can imagine how toxic they'll be, on both sides.
