My older sister was always talking about beef cake when I was little. I knew she meant boys with muscles but I've always thought that sponge cake with browned beef inclusions would be awesome. Finally developed the recipe for it. I'm serving it to my sister this weekend.

I remember before the first time I went, someone told me that once you've been there, you become a citizen, and it just feels like you're a tourist everywhere else. It sounds like a load of pretentious wank, but it's absolutely true. There's something wholesomely spiritual about the place. It really is 1967 again - like going back to the Garden of Eden, but with better music.
