Two months ago, I made this post:

In this community, about potentially either “colonizing”, or forking Squidgeworld Archive (alternative to the fanfiction site ao3).

Apparently, ao3 has recently shut-down for 2-4 weeks:

My question is: Should we consider potentially making a Fediverse alternative to Ao3 / SqWA?

If you head over to the Squidgeworld Archive website, it states that over 2,300+ ao3 users have already migrated over to SqWA from ao3.

Just imagine how many people could potentially be brought into the Fediverse, if there were a working federated alternative version of ao3 / SqWA.

Or if Fediverse users, instead of creating an alternative, instead commited to “colonising” SqWA, instead.

@aral I see #israelis as thieves, so this adds confirmation.

And the domed villa from the same update 🌿 A courtyard house that becomes a palace with a red ribbed dome, arched terraces, an ivy-covered tower, pools and gardens.

Gymnasium or villa, which would you build first?

A sandy training ground that grows into a colonnaded palaestra 🏛️

A new Greco-Roman gymnasium our studio made for Empire City by Red Brix Wall: four upgrade stages, teal tiled roofs, courtyards with patterned floors, statues and red banners. Same footprint at every stage, so it drops straight into the player's town.

There's a German chess term called zugzwang which means you have to make a move but any move you make is to your detriment. Feel like that is the Traitors situation right now. They definitely killed off the wrong person last time round.

In 2018, an 18-year-old woman named Martyna Ogonowska was sexually assaulted by a man named Filip Jaskiewicz. She stabbed him in self-defense and he subsequently died.

Martina was charged with murder by a British court, convicted, and sentenced to life imprisonment, with a minimum term of 17 years.

No one paid me to disagree with Jonathan Haidt. It was teenagers who taught me that he was wrong. But apparently, thanks to yet another f*cked up thing that Meta has done, any academic who critiques him is presumed to be a corporate shill. WTAF is going on?

Google’s added 10K hires since March leading to a total of 204K employees at the end of Q3.

This is counter to the broader trend of layoffs across the tech industry.

This confirms anecdotes I’ve heard that while others have been doing layoffs, Google has been cherry picking hires from competitors.

I kinda miss being a Google Guide back in the day, this sounds like a fun awesome successor to that 💓

@dansup Thanks!
