When you need to multiply 7*8 do you simply have it memorized, or do you need to add, subtract or otherwise connect it to another math fact that you know better?
That is do you simply think "56" or are there more thoughts that lead to 56?
@futurebird For some reason 7*8 and 7*7 have always been easy for me to remember. 7*9 is harder
Working on my game everyday nowadays, even if for 30mins. Improve it little by little. It's giving me a lot of fun of how I can make people have fun also
Feels good!

The PieFed UI is strange but more or workable, aside from some things like trying to view a downvote count being incredibly difficult and sometimes impossible. Try writing a long comment in a Lemmy browser interface - it jumps and skips wildly every time you make another key press, it’s horrible. Though it looks beautiful when you use it read-only.
Voyager offers a much nicer UX. Though then 90% of PieFed extra features aren’t workable, with 100% of them being inaccessible from within the app.
This place is hella confusing to non-technical normies.
Trump and Putin are aligning against Europe and Ukraine in an unprecedented way.
Samuel Dempsey at the European Correspondent enumerates how.

“Three tankers laden with Russian diesel — including one blacklisted by US authorities and another by the EU — are scheduled to arrive at American ports next week, raising legal risks for firms involved with bringing the fuel into the country.”

@rolle Good point - experienced this when once moving from Mastodon to GoToSocial, taking my posts (with limitations) with me by using this one (#slurp) here: https://box464.com/posts/gotosocial-slurp/
These days - and although I like the sleek design of GoToSocial - I am currently reconsidering a move back and importing my again - this exactly is the topic you’ve mentioned.
But yes, we’re free to move followers and to export our data but there should be easier ways to implement those once again.

Both projects try to be alternatives to Discord.
«harmony» is just the opposite of verbatim «discord».
«kallisti» is a (AFAICT slightly wrong) transliteration or transcription of «τῇ καλλίστῃ» (transliterated: tē(i) kallistē(i), "for/to the most beautiful"), the inscription on the Apple of Discord in Greek mythology, and is commonly used in Discordian/Erisian texts, such as the Principia Discordia.
@prutser @deadsuperhero LOL at the names of both software projects. 🤭
Sorry, the app encountered an unexpected error
