Bad luck for Ecospheres community
I’ve always wondered on Star Trek when they have a quick 10 second scene with a very heavily costumed alien or three if they really did all that makeup and stuff for just that one short scene or not. It seems like a huge amount of work.
I know they didn’t film everything in order, but did they maybe film multiple episodes in parallel? Like, maybe get Quark and Morn in costume for a day and film a bunch of bar scenes for different episodes?

That’s why I have this account. I only have to break it out once or twice a year, honestly. For the most part out server is pretty stable, but then every now and then, a rare Azorian moss creeps in though the window hosting the server, and begins to colonize. This results in much delicate work, as @ProdigalFrog@slrpnk.net and @poVoq@slrpnk.net carefully scrape the moss off the motherboards, using hori-hori knives imported directly from Japan. They then coax the moss onto several 9x13 Pyrex dishes loaded with a home made agar and begin the trek up Mount Pico, to relocate the moss to its natural habitat. This is only done under light or a full moon and with much chanting. If done right, a Satyr emerges from the bushes (erect phallus and all), playing melodic flute music, and thanks them for restoring the nomadic moss back to the wild. After a few moments of awkward silence for both the admins walk back down the slope, wondering what actually just fucking happen, and how this became part of the routine maintenance of the server.

The one complaint I hear from normies most often about AI is something they don't even realize is caused by AI.
"Why do all my apps constantly need updating now?! Can't I go a week without having to install a new version?!"

If the person is unconscious after the seizure, check their pulse and breathing.
If everything's ok, wait for a bit. If they don't wake up within ten minutes, call the ER if nothing else is indicated.
Important thing to know: after a seizure, many folks just fall asleep. A seizure is really exhausting.
@Testoceratops This thread is so informative. Thank you for sharing.
I know it’s not the same thing at all, but I tend to fall asleep after a migraine, too.
This is my appreciation post for my new neighbor, Maria, who is an absolute delight and she just gave us a jar of her chili oil to taste test.
She said she started making her own chili oil because the stuff from the store isn't spicy enough for her, so she's been trying to make her own so we just tried it on our Friday night pizza and it's seriously SO good! Like the perfect blend of spiciness and garlickiness and crunchiness.
Anyway, all of this to say that everyone should have a neighbor like Maria.
@Alice ...or someone who posts here, has such a neighbour, and is willing to mail out chili oil...

what you are is not what you *say* you believe, but what you do
in such a way, "leftists" who spend their time wallowing in perfectionism and cynicism, and on that basis choosing to do nothing (not voting), are essentially just masturbating their ego. and supporting fascism in their inaction
they are fake leftists. empty outrage people
they have a psychological position: tweaking their self-regard
not an ideological position: advancing a set of beliefs through action

For only 300 searches, that’s 10 searches a day. I do probably 50 to 100 searches per day.
So, it’s really $10 a month.
I might pay $5 a month for unlimited but I’m not sure about that. Because, you know they’ll raise the price if they get successful enough. And, then it’s just enshittification.
