@ajroach42 I love the fediverse

@MOULE it sure has been a world!

the word “tankie” was made by reformist communistsm not nazis

Answered in the First link, calling the CGRB ‘reformist communists’ is the same as calling nazis ‘reformist socialists’ because they have socialist in the name.

you have a million pieces of evidence about the tanks killing normal people

No, you don’t. In fact, you don’t have a single one, because that was never the claim for Tiannamen square. The tanks sheltered the soldiers from gunfire during the rebellion. This is answered in the second link.

and no, Democracy is a real thing,

Correct, and all forms of socialism have democracy built in, as socialism is democracy applied to the economy.

and capitalism can be regulated with rules (Genius for your chicken strips brain, but not for me), most of the EU is an example

The same EU that uses slave labor for most of its wealth? [1]

Regulated capitalism still requires exploitation in order to function, because it is still capitalism, which is exploitative by nature.

there is no thought in communism

There’s more thought in communism than there is in capitalism, as communism is based on the scientific method, and capitalism is built on the idea some people are born better than others. [2]

your odor lingers on

I hope you realize your place and the fact you will never be a capitalist. Education is free and easy these days.

Be more specific, and please link explicit examples with sources, instead of using thought terminating phrases that your owner taught you when something clashes with their programming.

1. They are all sourced.
2. My links explicitly answer those sources and address them.
3. All socialist countries that currently exist use democracy.
4. That is hilariously naive little fascist.
5. Why do you think that they do?
6. Good argument little fascist.
7. Why do you think this when all information about the government is public information in communist countries?

@joshg @alice I would say a lot of it depends more on the quality of the metal and machining. Plastic handles can be fine and some of the highest quality kits I know do use them. The tools that JimyLongs makes, for example. Also, Peterson tools have been considered good quality for a long time.

It really does come down to the steel and the profile shapes more than the plastic or metal actually in your fingertips, I think.

Ethiopia’s “Made in Ethiopia” programme has catalysed a ton of domestic production, reviving 1,115 factories, creating 1.58 million jobs and replacing $5.96 billion of imports with local production, all since 2021.

Now it’s expanding its ambitions: while the first phase was largely about getting more out of Ethiopia’s existing industrial base by reopening defunct factories and raising utilisation at plants working below capacity, Ethiopia’s Ministry of Industry says it’s time to expand manufactured exports. The ambition is to compete on price and quality with factories in China, India and Turkey.

@judell Agreed, though he’s a much wider peg.

That’s fucking awesome but the ranking is highly questionable.

I searched myself and a 4 upvote comment was the top thing.

No.

I tested a lot of different search engines when I was leaving Google and Kagi was the best by quite a bit. The customization features easily push it over the edge.
