OpenSSH has a vuln which allows logging in without a password. A thread.
https://www.openssh.org/releasenotes.html
It only impacts Linux distributions which ship with musl libc and PAM disabled. I think that is just Alpine Linux (all versions) and Void Linux.
It doesn’t impact Debian, Ubuntu, SUSE, Redhat or CentOS. Nor OpenWrt.
🗝️ Any passwords over 256 characters are fine.

Can we appreciate for a second that '4' is used in leetspeak, sorry, 1337sp34k, for the letter A?
Also, this particular comic has great potential to go full meme. Would love to see it, but I'm mostly a text-only shi1tp0st3r myself.
Hakeem Jeffries is not YOUR leader. There are actually people leading the resistance well already.
He is the leader of 255 incoming Members of Congress, more than half of whom are more conservative than you, than me, and even than Hakeem Jeffries.

Closed source and clearly completely vibe coded? Just look at the site, it reeks of AI. Even this post has so much AI-speech.
Yea, no thanks.

Chuck Schumer is trying to bulldoze his way into a Senate Majority Leader coronation. However, he is deeply unpopular with many of his colleagues. Here is a prospective whip count of support and opposition for his leadership.
Please help refine the data. If you learn anything that would help identify where any Senator stands please leave a reply.

No matter how good I am at my job, I can only work as fast as the person least capable of understanding me can accept what I'm doing.

If your “anti-abuse” security requires your software to be closed source, then your software is not secure. Well built software can be open source, and still secure.
You imply that your code could not prevent abuse if it was known, so, no offense, but that code must be pretty bad!
I like the fediverse because it distributes power. I, as a user, have the power to choose my instance, choose my moderation, choose the structure that my social interactions are built upon (threads based, microblogs, etc) and if I dont like something, I have the power to change it. Thats why open source is such a perfect fit to that model. Closed source federation then, sounds to me like you didnt get it.

Someone in my extended social circles has been having a very outwardly visible psychiatric episode, and I personally know like a dozen people trying to get through to them and help them. I think the saddest part is that they posted wondering if they even have any friends at all. An entire community desperately trying to get through to them and save them, comparing notes and trying to figure out a plan, but the psychosis is lying to them that they're all alone.
I hope that talking about this will help someone else remember that this is a very well-known way that stressed brains lie to themselves, the next time they feel all alone while in crisis.

@GossiTheDog Void Linux uses PAM by default.
