I think it would improve peoples lives if he blamed everything on Stephan Miller and/or Russel Vought and fired them.
I'm obviously thrilled about the national results. As much, I'm over the moon and excited to learn more about state and local elections.
Here in New Hampshire, while we kept our Republican governor in place, we flipped a Republican majority in our House and Senate, and went from a 4:1 Republican Executive Council to probably a 5:0 Democrat Executive Council.
This means that almost every ounce of political power in New Hampshire now resides in the hands of Democrats whose office I can go to.
I'm also thrilled to delete my YouTube history.
Everyone take note that all the vile and racist politicking that Republicans pushed about “DEI” and "woke" was an abject failure.
@violetblue I wish I felt that were true, here in #Arizona and other places, #Democrats won big but #antiTrans and #antiVoting measures passed with even larger margins.

It's a new dawn, it's a new day, it's a new life.
And I'm feelin' good.
Good morning, America. Thank you.

Not trying to defend Apple or anyone else here but some due diligence on this claim seems in order:
Do we know Apple Maps actually did server the more current images at some point and that this was indeed rolled back to an earlier version?
I mean, showing outdated images, especially of Gaza, when newer ones are available is still bad, but it's a different kind of bad than deliberately rolling them back.
@aesthr we, or at least I don't know. It is indeed possible Apple has simply not updated the images for some years, as they can be quite slow in updating satellite imagery.
Edited the post to reflect that very valid point, but kept the image as a shocking reminder of 'before' and 'after'. Particularly if you go to both Maps applications and scroll around. A vast area has been laid to waste.
Now that Safari 27.3 (beta) and Chrome/Edge support @function and if(), does @firefoxwebdevs plan to follow suit?
@bigandy we don't have a set timeline, but I'll shout about it here when we ship it
EK navrhuje v rámci snahy o omezení byrokracie stáhnout 18 nepodpořených legislativních návrhů a zrušit 14 již nevyhovujících právních předpisů.
@davidgerard "people don't want data centers which just shows that Musk's data centers in space push is smart" is strange cope.
@tante @davidgerard "data centers in space" is such a dumb idea that talking about it should pop the global ai bubble all by itself.
Tuesday's election was a wholesale rejection of Silicon Valley's worldview and AI-powered kleptocracy.

to all our US friends - well done, well done indeed. You stepped up and exceeded expectations. Up and down the tickets - winning House and Senate (enough there to tell Fetterman to fuck off). Winning state houses and governors - winning FUCKING TEXAS and KANSAS!!
But we still aren't buying US booze until you boot the orange idiot - Thankyou for voting, all of Canada
Dear Renee Good and Alex Pretti,
Your deaths were not in vain. Your murders may have been the decisive wake-up call for a nation abused and battered by a deplorable MAGA cancer that we have endured for 10 long years.
Thank you for your service.
Sincerely,
America

I was thinking about the exact same thing a couple of hours ago -- and how they will feign contriteness if they're called to answer for their sins before a new Congress.
