Back when I was working as a researcher, just copying stuff from other people without even dropping their name was something like a capital crime.

Today making money from other people's work using AI is the default behaviour.

Not even closed-source software is safe from that any more. Basically, closed-source technically stopped to exist with Reverse Engineer Anything.

Which eventually will result in everything useful moving into clouds so that you don't have binaries to decompile on your machine any more.
